With more than a decade being part of the Market Risk Technology group at a large global investment bank, Johnson brings a valuable mix of technology experience and Market Risk knowledge. In his most recent role, he headed the Structured Products Market Risk Technology team. As a development manager, he designed, delivered and supported technology solutions for financial regulations such as CCAR, Volcker, stress scenarios reporting, Value at Risk, Incremental Risk Charge and Economic Risk Capital.
As part of his data quality/data lineage work he put in place the firm's golden source repository for Structured Products and supported teams within and outside of Market Risk with validated data for capital calculations, credit risk analysis and timeseries construction.
Johnson takes home his passion for solving problems to his garage workbench, though his family believes it's mostly driven by the need to justify the tools and gadgets that he keeps acquiring.
